Your Role
As a Sourcing Manager – Cost Optimization & Strategic Supplier Management, you take ownership of driving cost-reduction initiatives and building strong, long-term partnerships with strategic suppliers. You play a key role in improving profitability and competitiveness by combining technical understanding with commercial excellence in a manufacturing-driven environment.

Your Responsibilities:

    • Drive structured cost-out and value engineering initiatives across the supply chain
    • Develop, manage, and strengthen strategic supplier relationships
    • Lead negotiations, including should-cost analyses and total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluations
    • Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to align sourcing strategies with technical and business requirements
    • Identify opportunities for cost optimization while ensuring quality, performance, and supply reliability

Your Profile:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar)
    • Around 8–10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within mechanical engineering or a technical environment
    • Strong track record in cost optimization, negotiations, and supplier management
    • Excellent analytical, technical, and commercial skills
    • German language skills are a strong advantage
