As a Systems Engineer - Regeneration, you will play a pivotal role in developing Heirloom’s regeneration technology. Your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and manage experimental setups for the thermal decomposition process. This role demands a hands-on approach, meticulous attention to detail, and an aptitude for troubleshooting complex systems.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing experimental setups aimed at studying the thermal decomposition of CaCO3 into CaO. Your tasks will involve instrumenting and closely monitoring experiments to guarantee precise data collection and analysis. Leverage your expertise in data analysis and modeling to interpret experimental results, pinpointing areas for process improvement. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial to enhance our comprehension and efficiency of the regeneration process. Additionally, you will play a key role in the continuous troubleshooting and refinement of experimental setups based on valuable data insights.
What You Will Bring
Preferred candidates for this position hold a PhD, although those with a robust background in Engineering, Science, or a related field at the MS or BS level will also be considered. The ideal candidate should possess demonstrated expertise in designing, instrumenting, and analyzing intricate experimental setups, showcasing a strong foundation in data analysis and proficiency in modeling. A hands-on approach with meticulous attention to detail in experimental work is essential, coupled with the ability to troubleshoot effectively when experimental data deviates from expectations.

Target compensation for this role is between $120,000 and $155,000 depending on level and experience.
