Infinium is seeking to fill a position at its Technology Center located at West Sacramento, CA as a Manufacturing Associate. This position requires the ability to manufacture solid-phase catalysts in a timely fashion while maintaining a high level of quality. A general knowledge of standard operating procedures, manufacturing methodologies and practices, and/ or the ability to comprehend and apply these requirements is required. We offer a competitive benefits package.A bachelor’s or associate degree in science or engineering is desired. Exceptional candidates without a formal degree will also be considered based upon breadth, depth, and relevance of experience. Candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant industrial experience (lab or manufacturing setting). The successful candidate must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude. Knowledge or experience in tablet press operations, process scale manufacturing and related SOP’s is highly desirable. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with chemicals of large powder and liquid volumes.The successful candidate should be familiar with both PC and Mac and fluent in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Familiarity with design of experiments (DoE) is desirable. The candidate will work with Infinium’s team of scientists, engineers, and technicians. Overall, the candidate should be safety-oriented and organized. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Performing and maintaining operations of Infinium’s catalyst production process
  • Assembling and disassembling of a multistation tablet press
  • Granulation, oscillation and milling of powders
  • In-process characterization
  • Maintaining batch records and SOP’s – also identifying and pursuing continuous improvement
  • Ordering and receiving materials and supplies
  • Being flexible for other tasks, such as R&D operations and occasional facility maintenance
