Position Summary

Infinium is seeking a seasoned Director of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) to lead our EHS function across all sites including corporate, West Sacramento, Corpus, TX, and Pecos, TX. This role will serve as the primary point of accountability for environmental compliance, occupational health, and safety programs company wide. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, deep regulatory knowledge, and a hands-on leadership style to shape and drive Infinium’s EHS culture and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the EHS strategy for Infinium, aligning policies, programs, and procedures with applicable federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, Cal/OSHA, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations across all company sites, including manufacturing, pilot plants, and future production facilities.
  • Develop programs and reporting metrics to address all Federal, State, and Local regulations.
  • Serve as subject matter expert and advisor to executive leadership on EHS risks, regulatory changes, and performance metrics.
  • Design and implement EHS management systems, audits, and reporting frameworks to standardize and improve performance across the organization.
  • Provide oversight and support for incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation.
  • Partner with site operations leaders to build a proactive safety culture through training, coaching, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage and oversee environmental permitting, inspections, and compliance reporting, including air, water, and waste programs.
  • Monitor emerging EHS regulations and sustainability trends and translate them into actionable plans for Infinium.
  • Where necessary, work with industry experts to develop applicable programs for all sites. B able to leverage a strong network within the EHS community.
  • Support emergency preparedness and crisis response planning across all sites.
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives that involve EHS aspects, including engineering, plant operations, HR, legal, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in industrial, energy, or chemical environments.
  • Multi-site compliance and oversight experience required.
  • Experience in developing and managing Process Safety Management (PSM) programs in petrochemcical and/or manufacturing facilities required.
  • Experience across different project phases (Design, Construction, Operations, Scaling, etc.) beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state EHS regulations, with experience in permitting, audits, and inspections.
  • Demonstrated success in developing, building, and scaling EHS programs in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing remote site operations.
  • CSP, CIH, or CHMM certification a plus.
