JOB Description:
Assembly & Integration
- Assemble multirotor UAV platforms as per Mechanical and Electrical drawings
- Integrate Propulsion systems (Motors, ESCs, Propellers), Power systems, Avionics, payloads, and Communication Modules
- Perform wiring harnessing, Soldering, crimping and cable management as per Aviation-Grade practices
- Integrate Flight controllers (Pixhawk, Cube, proprietary controllers, etc.) and peripherals (GPS, Telemetry, RC, Cameras, Sensors)
Configuration & Calibration
- Configure Autopilot firmware (PX4 / ArduPilot or equivalent)
- Perform Sensor calibration (IMU, Compass)
- Tune PID Parameters for stable and efficient flight performance
- Configure Failsafes, Geofencing and Flight Modes.
Testing & Validation
- Conduct bench tests, subsystem-level tests and system integration tests
- Perform ground tests including Vibration Analysis, Power consumption and Thermal checks
- Plan and execute flight tests (Hover, Endurance, Range, Payload and Environmental testing)
- Analyze flight logs (.bin/.ulg) to identify and resolve performance or safety issues
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve Electrical, mechanical, and software integration issues
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for failures observed during testing or field operations
- Maintain and repair UAVs and Ground Control equipment
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and maintain Assembly manuals, Integration checklists and test procedures
- Document test results, deviations and corrective actions
- Support regulatory and Certification activities (DGCA Type Certification, internal quality audits, etc.)
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality and operational standards
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Design, Firmware, QA and operations teams
- Provide feedback to Design teams for Design-For-Assembly (DFA) and Design-For-Test (DFT)
- Support Pilot training and field deployment teams when required
