About Us:
We are a growing B2B start-up dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions to our customers. As we scale, we're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant & Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial operations and ensure accuracy across all accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
  

• Handle accounts payable (AP): vendor onboarding, invoice entry, approvals, and payments
  

• Manage accounts receivable (AR): customer invoicing, collections follow-ups, and cash application
  

• Oversee billing operations: subscription renewals, revenue recognition, and customer billing inquiries
  

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
  

• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
  

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
  

• Support the preparation of tax filings, audits, and year-end close activities
  

• Collaborate with other departments (sales, customer success, etc.) to ensure financial accuracy
  

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping
  

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
  

• Experience with SaaS business models and revenue recognition (ASC 606) is a plus
  

• Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Excel/Google Sheets, and accounting software
  

• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and time management skills
  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in working with startups or high-growth companies
  

• CPA or equivalent certification is a bonus
