HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for activities related to employee relations, work environment, health and well-being of employees working at the Raglan Mine site. As a strategic and operational advisor on labor relations and organizational climate, you will ensure a healthy work environment by balancing compliance, performance, and quality of life. Your main tasks will be:
- Supervise the human resources team based at the mining site, as well as the attendance, recreation, and health services teams.
- Act as a strategic coach in high-risk situations or situations with a significant human impact.
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen working relationships based on trust, transparency, and respect with all stakeholders.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain workplace health and wellness programs tailored to the organizational context.
- Contribute to cross-functional human resources projects, particularly those related to employee experience, organizational culture and overall well-being.
- Monitor legislation and recommend any adjustments required to ensure compliance and effectiveness of internal practices and policies, as well as compliance with the Raglan Agreement.
- Manage the budget for the sectors under your responsibility and related activities
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Hold a bachelor's degree in human resources or industrial relations
- Have at least 10 years of experience in human resources in a unionized environment, including solid expertise in labor relations and occupational health management, as well as multidisciplinary team management and manager support.
- Experience in managing attendance at work (personal and occupational) is a major asset.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, good judgment, and rigor.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A working knowledge of English is required.
