Main objectives of the position
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Information Officer is responsible for setting the company's technology strategy and direction and leading the implementation of technology initiatives and objectives to support business operations.
Minimum qualification
- Diploma in Computer Science
- Business Management Qualification
- Certifications Microsoft
- Certifications ISCO
Required Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, including at least 3 years in a management position
- Experience in managing diverse teams (responsibility for the complete management of the line)
- Experience in implementing IT systems and software in a large, complex organization

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in strategic and operational governance as a member of the management team.
- Contribute to enterprise risk management and compliance with governance requirements.
- Lead strategic and operational IT planning to achieve business objectives.
- Maintain an organizational IT structure that is responsive to the needs of the business.
- Define objectives and operational procedures for IT systems.
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in IT resources.
- Develop and monitor annual IT budgets.
- Develop business cases for IT initiatives.
- Implement a disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
- Make recommendations to improve IT systems.
- Ensure segregation of duties and continuity of critical functions.
- Establish and maintain formal IT policies and procedures.
- Manage cybersecurity and compliance risks.
- Coordinate consultations with stakeholders to define business requirements.
- Oversee IT projects and review acquisition contracts.
- Ensure continuity of IT services and monitor system performance.
- Collaborate closely with different teams to understand business needs.
- Stay informed of trends in the IT sector and advise management.
- Develop and maintain data access and integrity controls.
- Manage the development and implementation of technology solutions.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, while managing performance and skills development.
