Glencore’s Market Data team works collaboratively across our global Commodity Marketing businesses (Energy & Metals) and support functions to ensure the company sources the right data, maintains appropriate controls and permissions around distribution, and allocates costs effectively. The team manages close relationships with exchanges and other suppliers, ensuring Glencore has access to high-quality, compliant, and cost-efficient market data.

Role Overview

As a Market Data Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the Market Data team by managing requests, maintaining accurate inventory records, and assisting with day-to-day operational activities. The role primarily supports the Market Data Procurement function, which is responsible for the effective sourcing, negotiation, and management of market data products and services.

This position offers broad exposure to market data procurement, compliance, vendor management, and cost optimisation, while building hands-on knowledge of the platforms, tools, and data services that underpin the firm’s trading and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage and maintain the renewals assignment process, following up on pending items with internal teams and escalating where requests exceed SLA.

· Update and maintain market data inventory within TRG Screen Optimize, ensuring accuracy of services, users, usage, cost allocations, and entitlement records.

· Administer the approval workflow for new services and renewals, ensuring required business, procurement, and finance approvals are completed in a timely manner.

· Manage DocuSign workflows for contract execution, ensuring documents are routed correctly, approvals are captured, and executed agreements are stored and recorded appropriately.

· Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for market data services, managing permissions and requests across exchanges and vendors.

· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for processes, workflows, documentation, and governance.

· Manage vendor online portals, such as Platts subscription manager, ICE Chat, Bloomberg, LSEG, MarketView moves

· Manage leavers, moves and joiner process, monitor spare licences lists

· Reconcile invoices using TRG Screen Optimize

Essential Skills & Experience

· 3 – 5 years experience in a market data administration/analyst role.

· Solid understanding of market data products, services, and vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, LSEG, ICE, S&P, Moody’s).

· Experience using TRG Screen Optimize or other market data inventory/entitlement platforms.

· Familiarity with contract workflows, including approval chains and digital execution tools such as Docusign.

· Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manage, reconcile, and analyse datasets accurately.

· Comfortable working with ticketing systems and workflow tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar).

· Knowledge of market data compliance requirements, exchange policies, and licensing principles.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Able to work effectively with multiple teams including Market Data, Procurement, Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders.

· Proven ability to follow up, chase approvals, and coordinate across functions in a professional manner.

· Customer-service mindset with a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
