Job Description
Reporting to the CHPP Production Superintendent, this role is responsible for the day-to-day analysis and troubleshooting of the coal preparation process as well as project managing small to medium process improvement projects.
About the role:
Daily monitoring of process trends, surveillance of processing equipment and formulating plans with production personnel to address process excursions in a timely manner.
Identifying process improvement opportunities and project managing process improvement projects.
Managing operational and process sampling programs to ensure accuracy and timeliness of results
Managing consumables delivery to ensure safe, reliable and timely delivery of consumables.
Contractor management for consumables deliveries and sampling service providers to ensure safe and reliable service.
Provide technical support and training assistance to production personnel
Roster and Location:
Monday to Friday roster
Based on site at HVO
About You:
A formal qualification in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering
A demonstrated background in a similar role
Previous experience in coal processing
Exceptional communication skills
A high level of computer literacy
