We are seeking a motivated and solutions-oriented Project Manager part of our Corporate Compliance team in Baar, Switzerland on a maternity cover basis. In this role, you will work closely with Corporate Compliance teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and the business to support and enhance the Group’s Ethics and Compliance Programme (GECP), with a particular focus on processes, controls, and systems. You will contribute to key projects aimed to optimise workflows, improve efficiency and leverage technology to improve and maintain our control framework. The ideal candidate brings a solid analytical background, effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.

The main tasks and responsibilities include

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver projects, managing timelines, and providing clear and structured reporting.

  • Manage and maintain project-related documentation, ensuring adequate audit trail.

  • Monitor and support controls, perform quality checks, and ensure alignment with established processes and standards.

  • Support the transition of existing controls and processes into new or updated systems, ensuring continued effectiveness and compliance.

  • Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of our sanctions screening tool across the Group, including acting as first-line support for Compliance users.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and IT to develop, improve, and maintain processes supported by key systems (e.g. Oracle, Power BI, Jira), including user testing and training delivery.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, with a focus on increasing efficiency, reducing manual effort, and enhancing overall effectiveness.

The ideal candidate

  • Good communicator, clearly articulating key outputs and next step.

  • Experience of documenting processes and controls.

  • Good project management including change management skills.

  • A good understanding of compliance risks and appropriate mitigating controls is an advantage.

  • Ability to build trusted relationships with different teams, particularly IT.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.

  • A quick learner who can absorb new information quickly and adjust their work accordingly.

  • Motivated, engaged, and keen to develop skills and knowledge.

  • A collaborative team member with a high level of trust and integrity.

  • Advanced communication skills, both written and spoken, able to engage effectively with teams and various groups.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.

  • Relevant work experience as a project manager with a legal, consultancy, auditing, risk or similar background is an asset but not essential.

  • Solid analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Oracle, Power BI, and Jira is an advantage.

  • Fluent in English (corporate language).

  • Holding a Swiss work permit or passport holder of CH / EU / EFTA.
