QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12
• Valid driver’s license (Code C)
• PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
• Forklift drivers’ license

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• 2 Years experience as a driver – Truck and LDV
• Experience in heavy industry, gained preferably in a furnace smelting operation
• Good communication skills

JOB OBJECTIVES

In this role you will be reporting to the Engineering Managerfor the following:

• Driving the Forklift, Tractor, Light Delivery Vehicle & 10 ton truck
• Collecting and delivering stores and operational supplies
• Loading and offloading of supplier deliveries
• Stores escort on plant deliveries
• Assisting the operation when required
• Assist Stores Assistants with day to day tasks
• Assisting with cyclical and annual stores stock counts
• Stock rotation and safe storage practices
• Cleaning and maintaining housekeeping
• Diesel receiving and issuing
• Overtime will be worked when required
