In this role you will:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline
- Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC)
- Minimum of five years of experience managing engineering or capital projects through design, construction, and commissioning phases
- Experience managing earthworks, civil construction, industrial buildings, or mining-related infrastructure projects is preferred
- Experience in mining, heavy industrial, or resource-sector environments is considered a strong asset
- Working knowledge of project management principles, including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, contractor management, and risk management
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent required
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in engineering, environmental science, or other related subject area
- Minimum three years demonstrated ability in the field of environmental compliance or monitoring, in an industrial environment
- Previous experience in the field of environmental compliance or monitoring, in an industrial environment
- Proficient in environmental data management, analysis, reporting, and environmental databases, particularly EQuIS and Microsoft Office Suite®
- Knowledge of relevant environmental and waste legislation, standards, and effective industry practices
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
