QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant Technical or Business qualification (NQF 6)

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• At least 5 years’ experience in a heavy industry environment
• Extensive knowledge of Heavy Industry Process Environment
• Problem-solving, and attention to detail
• Exceptionally good written and verbal communication skills
• Good administration capabilities
• Computer literate (MS Office, Project, SAP FI/CO/MM/PM, Coupa)
• Risk Assessments

JOB OBJECTIVES

In this role you will be reporting to the Engineering Manager for the following:

• Maintain the Rotable/Repairable process for both the electronic - and manual systems in use
• Ensure procurement activities in compliance with P2P and other related corporate systems and guidelines, including operational requirements.
• Monthly reconciliation of direct - and indirect repairs at repairers or OEM’s, three-way matching of repairs at Vendor, Physical Stock & SAP stock
• Cyclical industry benchmarking, driving optimization, standardization & process improvement on direct - and indirect repairs of Rotable equipment or materials with appointed repairers or OEM’s
• Scheduling & attending structured vendor visits and evaluations with Subject matter experts to ensure quality compliance of repairers or OEM’s
• Assisting Subject Matter Experts in preparing write-off justifications for retired or uneconomical repair quotes related to direct and indirect repairs of Rotable equipment and materials.
• Scheduling and arranging of collections and deliveries on direct - and indirect repairs of Rotable equipment or materials
• Monthly trends & reporting on End User satisfaction & High Corrective Action completion rate
