In this role you will be responsible for:

• Receiving and preparation of samples in compliance with the ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 standards
• Reporting samples preparation results on LIMS
• General housekeeping of the sample preparation area and sample storeroom
• Adhere to health, safety, environment, community, and housekeeping standards.
• Report all sample preparation equipment’s for defects.
• Comply with SANAS ISO/IEC 17025:2017

About you:

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
• Computer literacy including MS Office, SAP, LIMS and MES
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Ferro-chrome Smelter laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of SANAS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 will be advantageous
• Experience in sample preparation
• Good knowledge of HSEC systems
