Lime is the largest global shared micromobility business, operating in close to 30 countries across five continents. We’re on a mission to build a future where transportation is shared, affordable and carbon-free. Our electric bikes and scooters have powered more than one billion rides in cities around the world. Named a 2025 Time 100 Most Influential Company, Lime continues to set the pace for shared micromobility globally, spurring a new generation of clean alternatives to car ownership.

We are looking for a data-driven, hands-on, entrepreneurial minded individual to join our Sydney Operations team, working from our Sydney Warehouse. As a Rider Analytics Lead, you will play a key supporting role in ensuring our fleet is positioned for success. This is an entry-level opportunity for a motivated, "street-smart" individual who loves data and urban mobility. You will assist the operations team by monitoring demand, helping identify the best locations to deploy our bikes, and tracking how our service grows in new neighbourhoods. If you are eager to learn how a global startup operates on the ground and want to turn city data into real-world results, this is the place for you.

What You'll Do:

Regional Performance & Analysis

  • Own daily performance monitoring across assigned city zones, tracking key KPIs including usage, revenue, and fleet turnover. Identify underperforming areas, diagnose root causes, and surface data-driven opportunities to improve rider outcomes

Strategic Deployment & Placement

  • Leverage rider behaviour data, demand signals, and local city knowledge to define optimal deployment and drop-off locations, ensuring vehicles are consistently placed where and when demand is highest.

Expansion & Market Insights

  • Collect, analyse, and synthesise data from new and expanding regions to evaluate launch and expansion success, integrating internal performance reporting with external urban, transport, and land-use insights.

Rider Feedback & Stakeholder Experience

  • Analyze rider ratings, reviews, and feedback to identify systemic issues and improvement opportunities, supporting strong rider relationships, increased retention, and a consistently high-quality rider experience.

About You:

  • 1-3 years of professional work experience; ideally 1+ year of experience within an Operations (Optimisation) position

  • Demonstrated expertise with the Sydney region and ability to anticipate operational needs and/or challenges within this area

  • Grit and an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work in an ambiguous environment

  • High-energy and sound decision maker with the ability to make data-based decisions with a cost focused mindset

  • Familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets (Tableau & SQL knowledge would be a bonus) with the ability to navigate and draw inference from data

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

This is a contracted position employed and compensated by a third-party employer. By submitting an application, candidates acknowledge and agree that Lime may share their submitted information with the designated third-party employer, who may then contact them regarding the role. Compensation and benefits, if any, are determined and provided solely by the employer of record.
