Applications enabled by these systems include fossil plant repurposing, renewables firming, grid-balancing and transmission & distribution upgrade deferral.

The Energy Storage Thermodynamic Modeling Intern will be part of a world-class Engineering team focused on enhancing the Malta long duration, pumped heat energy storage system. The intern will primarily support the Store2REPower Project team but will also work with the Malta Strategic Initiatives team in modeling potential next generation Malta products.

This position requires working from a home office in Germany and will report to the Application Engineering Manager.
