Internship - Junior Platform & Venture Ops Analyst
Marble
About Marble
Marble is a climate tech venture studio. We partner with scientists, engineers and operators to create companies solving hard climate problems in the world's largest industries. Our first 10 companies are building transformative products across energy, industry, agriculture and climate resilience. 100% have been successful in raising follow-on to date. We are looking to partner with exceptional individuals to create our next venture.
About The Role
We are looking for a Junior Platform & Venture Ops Analyst to join Marble and help us build the engine behind company creation - from sourcing world-class individuals to supporting research and strengthening the broader Marble ecosystem.
Reporting to our Programme & Platform Lead, you’ll collaborate closely with Partners, senior team members, and our brilliant Founders in Residence. You’ll contribute to early-stage company validation efforts - engaging with external stakeholders, supporting internal research, and coordinating tools and workflows that help the studio move faster.
- Location: HQ in Paris, Station F.
- Language: English fluency required, French is a plus.
- Period: 6-month internship starting early September 2025
Responsibilities
This internship is built around four high-impact pillars:
- Founder & Talent Sourcing. We bet on talent even before ideas, and that’s why you’ll support outbound sourcing of top-tier founders and technical experts using the best tools on the market. You’ll help translate research into founders’ profiles, refine filters, enrich profiles, and improve targeting precision with feedback loops across the team. You’ll develop an exceptional taste in spotting great founders before they actually build something.
- Venture & Research Ops. You’ll support early-stage whitespace exploration by executing focused scouting sprints. This includes identifying high-signal startups relevant to the competitive landscape we’re actively building in, scheduling discovery calls, and extracting insights on product architecture, business models, onboarding flows, and GTM constraints. Your findings will feed internal discussions and contribute to venture/research deliverables.
- Platform & Studio Ops. You’ll help coordinate the studio’s internal workflows: running founder onboarding, supporting the creation of research insights, and ensuring venture teams have what they need to move fast. You’ll also spot opportunities to streamline and improve systems across the venture creation process.
- Tooling & Automation. You’ll evaluate and deploy tools that make us faster - from AI copilots for research, to applicant tracking systems, to niche networking platforms. You’ll test new ideas, run experiments, and scale what works across teams.
Requirements
This internship is ideal for an entrepreneurial student from a top school with a deep interest in venture building, climate tech, and startup ops.
We’d especially love to hear from you if:
- You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field, and you’ve already shipped real work in fast-paced environments like startups, VCs, or accelerators. Bonus points if you tried to build your own thing and failed.
- You’re fluent in Notion, Slack, and tools like Airtable, Clay, Lovable, Lemlist, chatGPT, and Gemini.
- Python and workflow automation skills (think n8n) are a big plus, but we also love vibe coders.
- You are comfortable with complexity, especially when it comes to making sense of a research piece on an emerging technology you have never heard of and then acting on it.
- You’re excited by the idea of spending a morning at a climate tech event to chase a lead, validate a new market, or make a new connection.
- You’re scrappy, curious, AI-fluent, and driven by impact.
