Matter. is a Venture Capital backed CleanTech scale-up and has an opportunity for a Marketing Executive to execute the social media strategy across the B2B and B2C media channels.

You will work in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and across the Commercial team to generate engagement for product launches, planned campaigns, involvement in website development plans and SEO updates.

Salary Range: £25k - £30k

The Opportunity

Matter. is a Venture Capital backed CleanTech scale-up and has an opportunity for a Marketing Executive to execute the social media strategy across the B2B and B2C media channels.

As a successful Marketing Executive, you will have some experience within a similar role planning and developing both online/offline targeted and effective marketing communications material and campaigns.

You will work alongside a small, experienced team to create engaging marketing collateral working with marketing guidelines and tools, whilst maintaining good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

You will also be confident planning and running social media campaigns, creating and publishing daily content, planning and monitoring the ongoing company presence on social media, analysing web traffic, communicating / responding to followers’ queries and executing project plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the social media strategy for B2B social media channels such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. This involves creating and scheduling engaging content, monitoring social media performance, and responding to comments or inquiries.
  • Assist in content creation for various marketing channels, including website, social media, newsletters, and blogs. Including writing engaging copy, proofreading, and editing content, and ensuring brand consistency.
  • Work closely with Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer to assist with incoming projects from various departments.
  • Support Marketing Manager in planning and executing upcoming marketing campaigns and industry events.
  • Stay updated with current trends and news in the climate industry, conducting research to gather insights and identify relevant topics for content creation and campaign development.

About you

  • Experience in a Marketing role plus ideally degree/qualifications
  • Ability to use design software such as Indesign, Photoshop, Canva or similar
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Experience with video editing software
  • A self-starter!
  • Willingness to get involved in lots of projects
  • Experience in B2B comms
