What is the purpose of the role?

You will support research and development activities in daily operations while performing technical troubleshooting of equipment.

What are your key responsibilities?

Keep our labs organized. Work, learn and operate according to our Standard Operating Procedures to keep our high quality standards.

Preserve and maintain stock levels of glassware, equipment and supplies to ensure daily operations in our Mosa Meat facility.

Make sure that reusable lab equipment is completely cleaned throughout the day by operating the autoclave and glassware washer.

Take care of daily scheduled and preventative cleaning and maintenance of our lab facility and equipment, according to our QA standards.

Coordinate with the Lab Manager in day-to-day activities.

Initiate and resolve equipment service needs in collaboration with our inside and outside repair technicians.

Order and management of lab consumable stock, including new equipment, by working closely with our logistics team.

Our ideal future team member

  • We are looking for a technician with vocational training. (Minimum NL:MLO, BE:A2 level).

  • Eye for detail and passionate about organization.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. A hardworking, flexible, and dedicated team-player.

  • Excellent in documentation and registration.

  • Good verbal English communication skills (min B2 level).

  • Clear communication.
