The Opportunity

Mosaic is looking for a data-driven analyst to join its FP&A team. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this analyst will support the corporate and business financial planning and analysis functions and partner with senior leadership to develop and execute Mosaic’s strategic plans. This position will be a cross-functional partner, who can synthesize data and analysis and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior leaders throughout the organization. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with a large potential for growth.

Your day-to-day

• Financial Planning: Assist in the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans. Collaborate with department heads to gather relevant data and assumptions.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and actionable insights.
• Forecasting & Reporting: Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting activities. Generate regular financial reports, including monthly/quarterly performance reports and ad-hoc analyses as needed.
• KPI Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess business performance. Identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects as assigned by senior management. Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and business development efforts.

What you bring to the team

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Statistics or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in FP&A, data analytics or BI from a bank, fintech or finance institution.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with data visualization and/or business intelligence tools (Tableau preferred)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000. The position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we’re proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
