The Role

As the Director of Product Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product's success by creating and executing comprehensive marketing strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and creative teams, to ensure our products meet customer needs and achieve market dominance. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving awareness, demand, and revenue growth.

What you'll do:

Product Strategy: Develop and execute product marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives and product roadmaps
Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights, using this information to inform product positioning and messaging
Product Positioning: Define and communicate the unique value proposition of our products, ensuring they resonate with target customers
Messaging and Content: Create compelling and differentiated product messaging, content, and collateral, including presentations, whitepapers, case studies, and more
Go-to-Market Planning: Lead the development and execution of go-to-market plans for new product launches, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful market entry
Sales Enablement: Provide sales teams with the tools, training, and resources they need to effectively sell our products, including product training materials and competitive analysis
Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback and market data to make data-driven recommendations for product improvements and enhancements
Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive demand and customer engagement
Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product marketing initiatives and regularly report on progress to senior management
Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing product marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Skills to be successful:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Proven experience (6+ years) in product marketing
Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics
Exceptional communication, presentation, and writing skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams
Proficiency in market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven decision-making
Track record of successful product launches and revenue growth
Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
Strong organizational and project management skills

Maximum amounts are reserved for those candidates that exceed all experience and background requirements. We reserve the right to offer compensation based on level of experience. Moxion has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
