What We're Looking For
Today, Novi works with hundreds of the fastest-growing beauty and personal care brands, major retailers, and top global CPGs. The industry we're tackling is fragmented and complex, and the value we can bring is enormous.
Key factors in enabling Novi to realize its potential will be how effectively we paint the vision, enable our salesforce, position our brand and offering, communicate the value we deliver for each audience (retailers, brands, formulators, suppliers, and consumers), and engage and guide our users to get more value out of Novi.
That’s why we’re looking for an inspiring, strategic, and customer-obsessed Head of Marketing who can help us achieve these goals. In this executive role you will be reporting to the CEO and, together with your small team, will be responsible for:
Customer insight. Determine which actionable insights are key to growth and customer delight, frame up research that answers the relevant questions and ensure that the correct insights are extracted and acted upon.
Sales enablement and demand generation. Work closely with sales to capture and nurture leads with crisp positioning, compelling materials, and account-based marketing that compresses the time to close.Collaborate on events, webinars and other forms of live customer engagement.
Content, social media, and SEO. Oversee the creation of a content marketing strategy that creates insane levels of education and engagement. Implement SEO best practices to drive high-quality organic traffic and improve search engine rankings. Monitor key metrics to measure and iterate.
Thought leadership and public relations. Develop and implement a comprehensive thought leadership strategy that positions the company and key leaders as game changers. Manage and cultivate relationships with influencers, analysts, and media to win coverage and earn credibility. Pursue awards, recognitions, and speaking engagements to elevate the company’s profile.
Brand. Define and shape the perception of the company by painting an inspiring, larger-than-life vision and influencing the end-to-end customer experience. Ensure consistency in brand messaging and behavior across all touchpoints. Monitor and measure brand sentiment among prospects, customers, and industry stakeholders.
About you
10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on customer insight, sales enablement, content marketing, SEO, media relations, influencer marketing, thought leadership, and brand management
Highly strategic, inspiring leader with a deep understanding of B2B marketing
Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative, high-impact marketing strategies and the vision to shape and influence an entire industry
World-class written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of how to extract the story behind the numbers and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent leader and manager, who develops and empowers others. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Desire to roll up your sleeves in a startup environment with a combined sense of collaboration and accountability
Customer-obsessed, with proven experience in conducting and identifying actionable insights from customer research as well as modeling customer obsession for the team
Deeply familiar with the marketing tech stack and analytics tools needed to gain insights and grow the business
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
Base Salary Range
$165,000USD - $205,000USD Annual Salary
