What We're Looking For

Our first creative hire– a scrappy jack or jill of all trades and rising leader in visual creative disciplines. We need someone who geeks out on clean and sustainable products, thrives in the early stages of company-building, and knows what it takes to build creative operations for growth. To start, you’ll partner with the Head of Marketing and CEO to uplevel our brand identity system, brand guidelines, website, and core digital assets. Later, you’ll build a world-class creative studio, inspiring a team of designers, copywriters, video editors, and photographers to do the best work of their careers. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll evolve the Novi Connect brand strategy and work alongside passionate product designers, product marketers, customer marketers, and growth marketers.

In This Role, You Will:

Revamp the Novi Connect brand and website, working with product marketing to uplevel the visual identity, storytelling, copy, social proof, interactive components, and data visualization.
Develop visual and voice brand guidelines, and oversee their application to different mediums and channels.
Oversee the extension of the Novi brand identity to our social channels, case studies, emails, landing pages, campaigns, sales materials, ads, blog, research reports, and event presence.
Build and oversee the creative operations function, including conception, production, automation, delivery, and measurement.
Develop a creative request process, brief templates, and project management system to reliably estimate and hit deadlines and provide full transparency to internal stakeholders.
Translate marketing briefs into breakthrough creative and innovative campaigns that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement for channels such as YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure that the Novi brand consistently shines throughout the prospect and customer journeys.
Partner with the product design team to develop a components library— as an extension of our brand identity— that can be used across all digital properties and products.
Leverage research, insights, and learnings to inform creative decisions that are rooted in consumer, brand, and retailer needs, and Novi business priorities.

About you

7 to 10 years of experience in creative roles, with a focus on graphic design, art direction, and either photography, videography/editing, illustration, or animation.
A portfolio of breakthrough brand identities, campaigns, and/or creative assets for beloved consumer brands in the CPG, personal care, and/or ecommerce industries.
A strong operational mindset with a proven ability to prioritize strategic initiatives, ad hoc requests, and ongoing design work under pressure while maintaining speed and high attention to detail.
Experience recruiting, mentoring, leading, and retaining world-class multidisciplinary creative talent.
Ability to give and receive constructive feedback across creative disciplines.
Strong presentation skills, including the ability to articulate the why behind the design choices of all deliverables to an executive-level audience.
Expertise with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

Bachelor's degree or higher in graphic design or related field, or equivalent experience.

Base Salary Range

$150,000 - $190,000 USD Annual Salary
