What We're Looking For
Today, Novi works with hundreds of the fastest-growing beauty and personal care brands, major retailers, and top global CPGs. The industry we're tackling is fragmented and complex, and the value we can bring is enormous.
A key factor for Novi to realize that potential will be how effectively we position our brand and offering in the market, communicate the value we can deliver for each member of our network (brands, formulators, suppliers, and manufacturers), and engage and guide our users to get more value out of Novi.
That’s why we’re looking for a skilled, mission-aligned, and empathetic data integrations engineer to help us expand, monitor, and stabilize our data pipelines. In this role, you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager and be responsible for
Developing and maintaining ETL pipelines to ensure data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
Architecting and building a robust, scaleable, and secure data integration environment.
Enhancing data infrastructure to support advanced analytics, machine learning, and reporting.
Working on data quality and data governance initiatives to ensure the integrity and security of data.
Implementing monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve data integration issues.
Advising product management on best practices in data integration.
Contributing to designing and implementing a comprehensive data ecosystem of sustainability and compliance.
Maintaining, updating, and extending a digital library of chemical compounds.
About You
4+ years of professional experience in data integration and engineering
Proficiency with data integration tools and platforms
Experience with ETL processes and tools
Strong understanding of APIs
Deep experience with Python and SQL
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Previous experience working with large datasets and data warehousing solutions
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex data structures
Experience in data modeling
Experience with monitoring and improving data quality and data integrity
Experience supporting machine learning engineers and data analysts
Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices
Experience working directly with internal and external stakeholders
Experience working in a start-up or similar fast-paced environment
A passion for users and delivering high-quality, reliable products

Base Salary Range
$120,000 - $170,000 USD Annual Salary
