Nuventura has developed a new generation of electrical switchgear that is highly innovative and environmentally sustainable, replacing the world’s strongest greenhouse gas SF6 by simple dry air. Together with our partners we are now industrializing for scaling-up globally and serving customers and projects around the world.

To support us we are hiring a Regional Sales Manager (f /m /x) who will help to keep the order pipeline filled. In this important role you will have a major impact working on the external customer interface and finding solutions for their technical and commercial requirements. You present our climate-friendly innovative products to them on video calls, during real-life visits or exhibitions on international trade fairs.

To be successful in this role, you need to combine good technical, commercial and communication skills. You have a technical or techno-commercial background and at least 10 years of work experience, ideally in the medium-voltage switchgear or related fields. You are able to work in a fast growing company and establish structure and processes where they are not yet in place.

This position reports directly into the Head of Sales.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Oversee all sales activities in a designated European region, including market and competitor analysis to develop new sales strategies.
  • Communicate with customers and partners for offer alignment, project clarification, and negotiating commercial terms and delivery plans.
  • Review project specifications and prepare technical and commercial offers, ensuring thorough follow-up on issued quotes and customer interactions.
  • Represent Nuventura in customer meetings, presentations, fairs, events, and support marketing activities.
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the CRM system.
  • Prepare detailed documents for project handover to the internal team once a project is won.
  • Provide customer application insights to support internal teams and improve solutions.
  • Enhance tendering and sales tools for efficiency, while managing budget responsibilities and analyzing activity results.

What do you need to bring into the company?

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related fields, with prior knowledge of hardware products, preferably in switchgear.
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience, including 5 years in a sales role, with excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience in a sales environment with target setting, performance measurement, and the ability to work independently.
  • Flexible, problem-solving mindset with a sense of urgency, priorities, and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in German and very good written and spoken English (B2); Spanish is a plus.
  • Positive, hands-on personality with responsibility, teamwork, and open-mindedness towards new media and technologies.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the sales region, with a full-time work permit for Germany.
  • Appetite to learn about the product, with a valid driver's license (B) being a plus.
