Thanks for your interest in Oklo! We are searching for an Operations Assistant to Oklo's Product Operation Manager to join our team.
Position Overview:
Oklo is seeking an experienced, dynamic, technically capable Operations Assistant to support our Product Operations Manager. This role demands a combination of administrative prowess and the agility to navigate a fast-moving company in the exciting industry of advanced fission (nuclear energy).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to the Product Operations Manager and the Product department as a whole, including calendar management, coordinating meetings, and handling travel arrangements
- Efficiently process and distill a high volume of incoming information, presenting it in a prioritized manner to the Product Operations Manager, and facilitating subsequent actions
- Prepare and edit presentations, reports, and other critical documents, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Manage confidential information with discretion, upholding the company's data protection standards
- Proactively address and resolve administrative and technical challenges
- Assist with project coordination, ensuring milestones are met and updates are communicated effectively
- Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as required, showcasing resourcefulness and adaptability
- Schedule events with key stakeholders efficiently and smoothly
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as an assistant or in a similar role, with a preference for those familiar within technical environments
- Strong technical proficiency with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and software including Google Suite, Slack, Box, Atlassian, Asana, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat to make tracked changes, add redlining/comments to documents, and create PDFs
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to anticipate needs and challenges
- Bonus if located near Washington DC, Idaho Falls, or the Bay area, but not a requirement
- Knowledge of the nuclear power industry is a plus, but not required

About Oklo compensation:
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000
Salary may fall outside of the range provided and will be dependent on applicant experience.

About Oklo Inc.: Oklo Inc. is developing fast fission power plants to deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy at scale; establishing a domestic supply chain for critical radioisotopes; and advancing nuclear fuel recycling to convert nuclear waste into clean energy. Oklo was the first to receive a site use permit from the U.S. Department of Energy for a commercial advanced fission plant, was awarded fuel material from Idaho National Laboratory, and submitted the first custom combined license application for an advanced reactor to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Oklo is also developing advanced fuel recycling technologies in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. National Laboratories.
