Orange is seeking a Mobile App Software Engineer to develop software for our current mobile application, internal tools, and customer web portals. Orange is building a better electric vehicle charging platform for multi-unit dwellings. As an early-stage startup, you will have many responsibilities with direct input on product development and design. All work will be on critical systems essential to support Orange’s EV charging platform’s growth and mission. The current system is built with Go, Flutter, and React and runs on the Google Cloud and AWS where appropriate.

We are working to create an EV charging platform like no other, one designed from the ground up to work in network-limited environments, and are a full-stack team of engineers and entrepreneurs. A few of the use pressures worked in the early days of Tesla working to bring affordable EVs to mass markets. We are now working to bring affordable, scalable access to energy to more people to charge the next generation of electric mobility.

We need someone highly motivated, a self-starter, proactive, and excited by the opportunity to leave their mark on the world. You will be responsible for bringing new UI & UX to market across the entire organization and helping our engineering team achieve its product goals.

Responsibilities:

• You will be the lead owner of the entire frontend user experience
• You will work on taking user requirements and experiences from idea to implementation
• Building stunning front end and taking our front end to the next level.

Requirements:

• Passionate web and mobile developer with 5+ years of experience shipping mobile and web applications at some meaningful scale.
• Exceptional understanding of fundamental coding practices and a computer science background is preferred.
• Strong design thinking process and skilled in creating UI/UX components with fast, efficient load times/

Good To Have:

• React & Flutter production experience where an app you build or worked on has more than 1000+ daily users
• Ability to complete designs based on user requirements and business goals
