This position will be based in Charlotte, NC.
Summary of Role
We are hiring a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to lead end to end hiring for niche, high impact roles across priority business segments including HVAC, Consumer, and more. This is a strategic senior level talent acquisition role, requiring strong ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex searches with minimal direction while partnering with hiring leaders.
In addition to full cycle recruiting, this role will lead the recruiting strategy for Charlotte-based hiring, supporting the continued growth of our corporate headquarters. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong local talent pipeline and increasing Palmetto’s visibility in the Charlotte market. As the point person for Charlotte recruiting, you’ll partner with local universities, trade schools, community organizations, and professional networks to expand sourcing reach and deepen connections in the region.

Strategic & Tactical
Talent Acquisition
- Manages full cycle recruiting for niche, high impact roles in key business segments with minimal direction.
- Builds strong, consultative relationships with stakeholders to align hiring plans with team goals, success profiles, and long term needs.
- Develops and executes creative sourcing strategies to proactively build diverse, high quality pipelines.
- Uses recruiting data to inform decisions, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement in speed, quality, and process.
- Ensures a consistent, high quality candidate and manager experience while balancing urgency with long term hiring outcomes.
- Takes full ownership of the recruiting process, proactively surfacing roadblocks, offering solutions, and driving alignment across teams.
- Create and promote a thoughtful, inclusive, and engaging candidate experience from initial outreach to offer and onboarding.
- Negotiate and extend offers to candidates, ensuring alignment with both company goals and market expectations. Leverage compensation benchmarks and talent market insights to inform competitive hiring strategies and drive offer acceptance rates.

Charlotte Talent Strategy
- Develops and executes long term strategies to build a sustainable, diverse, and high quality talent pipeline in the Charlotte market.
- Serves as the internal expert on the Charlotte talent landscape, providing real time market insights and recommendations to hiring managers and business leaders.
- Partners with Charlotte area universities, trade schools, workforce development programs, and community organizations to drive brand awareness and proactive sourcing.
- Represents Palmetto at local recruiting events and builds long term relationships that expand our reach and impact in the region.
- Develops referral networks, alumni connections, and candidate communities tied to Charlotte and other markets.
Qualifications
- 6–8+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably in high growth or mission driven companies.
- Deep knowledge of the Charlotte talent market and a demonstrated ability to build localized recruiting strategies.
- Proven ability to lead complex, high priority searches across technical and non-technical roles.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, you’re seen as a trusted partner and advisor.
- Proficiency in sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, recruiting analytics, and process optimization.
- Highly adaptable and comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Strong sense of ownership; takes initiative and follows through with limited direction.
- Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally to drive alignment and outcomes.
- Data driven and analytical; uses metrics to inform recruiting strategy and measure success.
- Creative and resourceful; able to think outside the box and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills in a fast paced environment.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms, such as Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar tools.
