As climate change amplifies the intensity of wildfires—with longer fire seasons, dryer fuels, and faster winds—new ignitions spread faster and put more communities at risk. Today, most wildfires are detected by bystanders and reported via 911, meaning it can take hours to detect a fire, verify its exact location and size, and dispatch first responders. Fire authorities need a faster way to detect, confirm, and pinpoint fires so that they can quickly respond—preventing small flare-ups from becoming devastating infernos.

About Pano: Pano is a venture-backed early-stage climate tech startup that is the leader in wildfire early detection, leveraging the latest advancements in IoT, AI, satellites, and SaaS software to deliver actionable intelligence to customers. The Role

Pano is searching for a Senior Supply Planning Analyst to lead the Supply Planning portion of our S&OP process to support our customers in the United States, Australia, and Europe. You will have demonstrable analytical abilities while being adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of working in a highly active work environment. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will be responsible for creating a reliable Supply Plan for Pano that will give both internal and external customers confidence that Operations will deliver on time as we continue to scale the business. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a successful, fast-paced startup environment, all while working on a meaningful and urgent problem.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the ongoing owner of Pano’s supply plan. This position will ensure the overall delivery of sites to the customer is properly forecasted and execution plans are correctly aligned across North America, Australia, and Europe
• Partner with internal organizations, including commercial team, financial team, project management, and operations, to align on key business deliverables
• Lead the Supply Planning portion of the S&OP process
• Ensure gaps in the supply plan are addressed, and issues appropriately escalated
• Provide recommendations for the best use of limited materials and prevent potential schedule interruptions
• Analyze inventory and forecasting performance and identify areas for process improvement
• Support the introduction of new products and product discontinuation
• Communicate supply position to the business and perform “what if” analysis as required
• Maintain planning system and master data integrity, as well as keep assigned documentation updated following all departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions
• Contribute to business process definition and documentation and generally support Operations performance improvement
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (0 to 10% at times)
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Professional that is experienced and astute at representing business interests to the senior leadership
• 5+ years experience working in supply planning or demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and scenarios
• Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize large amounts of information from multiple sources to draw conclusions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify and explain complicated problems, with a willingness to challenge when necessary
• Superior organizational skills and time management abilities, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities at the same time
• Experience working as part of a geographically dispersed team across multiple time zones.
• Experience with ERP systems
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Bachelor degree in Business or Technology required

Location: This job can be done as a hybrid from San Francisco or Dallas

$135,000 - $165,000 a year

Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors, including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and location. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for stock options.
