About Pathways
Building materials are responsible for 15% of global CO2 emissions and even larger share of biodiversity loss. At Pathways, we are building the data layer manufacturers need to measure, reduce, and report on the footprint of their products.
What you’ll do
We’re hiring a Product Data Analyst to join our small but mighty team as we build the platform needed to decarbonize manufacturing and the built environment. We're seeking a gritty data wizard - someone who can roll up their sleeves and get into the weeds, but constantly has an eye towards optimization, efficiency, and scale. You'll be at the intersection of product, data, and sustainability - this is an exceptional opportunity to shape product decisions through rigorous analysis.
We are building a team of passionate problem-solvers and empowering them to build extraordinary products. You'll be coming in at the ground floor - with a chance to drive strategy as we deliver value to our customers quickly and at scale. This is a hands-on role that requires creative flexibility, passion for problem-solving, deep technical expertise, and a drive to help bring the manufacturing industry into the 21st century.
In particular, you will:
Process, analyze, and derive insights from complex customer datasets to inform product strategy and feature development
Partner with product teams to design and analyze experiments that validate product hypotheses
Develop and maintain comprehensive Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards
Create clear, compelling data visualizations and presentations that drive decision-making
Proactively identify opportunities for product improvement based on data analysis
The Ideal Candidate
Analytical thinker that wants to transition into tech
Thrives under pressure and embraces challenging workloads
Passionate for using data to drive business decisions
Eager to learn about product development and sustainability
Takes ownership of their work and drives projects to completion
Who is this for
2-5 years of analytical experience, ideally in investment banking, management consulting, or similar high-intensity analytical roles
Strong quantitative background with excellent Excel skills
Track record of managing multiple concurrent work streams under tight deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to analytical rigor
Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with dynamic priorities
SQL, Python, or R experience is a plus
