Who we are looking for:
The Principal Chemical Engineer will be responsible for leading the design and development of innovative critical metals production systems, as well as scaling up existing processes to meet production goals. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in chemical engineering, particularly in the design, development, and optimization of mining chemical processes and systems, as well as experience in scaling up production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the chemical engineering team in the design and development of innovative critical metals production systems.
  • Optimize existing processes to improve production efficiency and throughput.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that chemical systems integrate seamlessly with other systems.
  • Scale up existing processes to meet production goals and support company growth.
  • Conduct tests, analyze data, and recommend changes or improvements to chemical systems as necessary.
  • Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of chemical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in chemical engineering, with a focus on mining chemical processes and systems, and scaling up production processes.
  • Experience with designing and optimizing chemical processes and systems for critical metals production.
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams of chemical engineers.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend changes or improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
