Who we are looking for:
Phoenix Tailings is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Leadership Development Program (LDP). We are looking for individuals with a passion for automation, process control, and integrating control systems into innovative technologies. This program provides hands-on leadership experience and focuses on designing, refining, and optimizing control systems critical to clean metals production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize control systems: Design, implement, and refine control systems for high-temperature processes, including molten salt electrolysis, liquid/liquid separation, and other systems.
  • Automation integration: Work with PLCs, HMI, and advanced control strategies to improve system efficiency, scalability, and performance.
  • Data analysis and diagnostics: Analyze control system performance, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements to ensure consistent system operation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Partner with chemical engineers, R&D, and operations teams to integrate control systems into Phoenix Tailings' production workflows.
  • Leadership development: Gain leadership skills through project management, technical guidance, and hands-on training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with controls, automation and date.
  • Passion for sustainability, data and innovation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A desire to grow into a leadership role in a rapidly scaling company.
