Overview

This position is responsible for participating in and supporting the design and implementation of a centralized Sales and Operations Planning process and all related analytics. This includes supporting a common approach to reporting on supply chain activities including Demand and Supply planning as well as production planning versus actuals. The analyst will work with the internal stakeholders at different sites while promoting a common way of working. Collaborating across sites to consolidate and analyze different data sets in support of establishing common goals and requirements while holding ERMCO Enterprise performance paramount will determine success.

This individual will work closely with sales, materials management, supply chain and operations to determine requirements and lead S&OP content development across functions. This could include researching industry trends, performing market analysis and presenting strategic recommendations and relating Key Performance Indicators. This role will report to the Director of Sales and Operations Planning.


The desired Analyst should be comfortable speaking and delivering presentations to internal business teams as well as having excellent business acumen. As the S&OP analyst, you will gain a vast knowledge of the inner workings and operations of the premier distribution transformer manufacturer in North America.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for utilizing data mining techniques, SQL programming language, and relational databases to analyze and manage data effectively
  • Develop content for monthly cadence of meetings including Demand Consensus, Supply Consensus, and Operations Consensus.
  • Responsible for seeking out data from stakeholders across supply chain functions and sites, consolidating various data sources to develop Enterprise level analytics.
  • Leading, conducting internal and external data analysis, and providing recommendations based on analysis.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and partners such as site supply chain leads, sales, finance, engineering, and operations to gather and analyze business requirements in support of a common way of working across the enterprise.
  • Support the development, collection, maintenance, and presentation of (KPI's) key performance indicators.
  • Responsible for S&OP performance reporting and dispatching /vendor communications to suppliers relative to performance
  • Manage reporting of internal supply chain performance metrics using analytics to support recommendations.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of a common Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in statistical, financial or supply chain related discipline.
  • ISM or APICS certification preferred.

Experience

  • 3 – 5 years of analytical experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory control, materials planning or financial environment.
  • Expertise with data mining techniques, SQL programming language and relational databases
  • Experience in dealing with a complex/ multi-site/ multi-ERP environment is preferred
  • Experience with Sales and Operations Planning practices is preferred
  • Experience with business systems and/or ERP implementation is preferred.

Skills/Abilities

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, TEAMS and Outlook is a must.
  • Analytical skills to support and enhance supply chain strategy and goals required.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and adhere to deadlines are required.
  • Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
  • Ability to build strategic relationships and influence across functions and locations including all levels including senior leadership.
  • Ability to work well with others as well as independently.
  • Superior communication skills including oral, written and presentation to management and other internal groups desired.
  • Understanding inventory management, warehousing, supply planning and demand planning functions desired
  • A knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Cost Analysis, and Cost Accounting practices is preferred.
  • Must be able to perform in a fast-paced, independent work environment with limited supervision. Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands of the position.
