The Senior Credit Analyst will be responsible for leading the credit and collections programs for Pivot Bio. This role will lead the external financing program for Pivot Bio customers to ensure compliance and accuracy of balances and will directly support customer collections in the day-to-day activities of contacting customers regarding past-due payments. The Senior Credit Analyst serves as part of the revenue operations team located in Ames, Iowa.

Essential functions

  • Manages all external financing programs – oversight and administration ensuring accurate balances for customers and timely and accurate payments to Pivot
  • Lead the company’s process of retrieving money owed to them based on a set of written policies while partnering closely with commercial team on awareness of balances
  • Payment application – accurate customer application and bank deposit process in NetSuite and Rabo Agrifinance
  • Assists in ensuring the Collection Utilizes appropriate company systems and reporting resources to provide accurate data to managers and directors
  • Payment status reporting to field sales team and sales rep
  • Research accounts to ensure payment accuracy and open tickets for any necessary adjustments

Work environment

  • Job will involve mostly office and computer-based work
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting/standing, repetitive motions
  • 1 day/week in the Ames, IA office

Required education and experience

  • B.S. or B.A. in Finance or Business-related field preferred
  • 5 years of financial AR, credit, collections experience required
  • Experience handling complaints or difficult calls with customers
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Occasional nights and weekends
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Hiring Compensation Range
$72,000$90,000 USD

The salary range for this Berkeley, CA based position incorporates a premium for the cost of labor in this area. If this role is hired remotely, contact us for the lower range for National Benchmark. Following employment, growth beyond the hiring range is possible based on performance.
