Plotlogic is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, enthusiastic and very hands on Financial Controller to ensure the effective management of the accounting function including forecasting, compliance, reporting and cash management to support for the organization's operations and decision-making processes.

This role will be responsible for:

• Management of the accounting function, FP&A function, and all regulatory compliance.

• Budgeting, financial forecasting, and reporting, including business unit and product line analysis.

• Both internal and external reporting of financial performance.

• Oversight of all cash, cashflow and overall capital requirements.

• Oversight of compensation metrics, targets and guidelines.

• Oversight of all compliance activities including annual audits, tax obligations, regulatory returns and group risk (including intercompany matters, transfer pricing and insurance).

• Management of external advisors relevant to the business function.

• Management of the month-end process, including completion of the general ledger reconciliations and production of product, group and corporate monthly finance reports.

• Demonstrating an intimate understanding of the company financial position and performance at any point in time.

• Participation in debt and equity financing rounds.

• Managing banking, debt and equipment finance relationships, including reporting and compliance with covenants.

• Collation of material for board and investor correspondence.

• Management and development of a small team.

Qualifications and Capabilities:

• 2-3 years’ experience as a Financial Controller.

• Bachelor or master’s degree in accounting or related discipline.

• CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent overseas qualification).

• Experience with inventory and fixed assets (preferably in the mining industry).

• Experience at Assistant Manager/Manager level or above in a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm and/or industry experience as a Senior Financial Accountant, Finance Manager or Controller.

• Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, swiftly changing startup or startup like environment.

• Fully proficient in both US and Australian accounting standards.

• Financial modelling experience is essential.
