About Plug

Plug is the only wholesale platform built exclusively for used electric vehicles. Designed for dealers and commercial consignors, Plug combines EV-specific data, systems and expertise to bring clarity and confidence to the wholesale buying and selling process. With the addition of Trade Desk™, dealers can quickly receive cash offers or list EV trade-ins directly into the auction, removing friction and maximizing returns. By replacing outdated wholesale methods with tools tailored to EVs, Plug empowers dealers to make faster and more profitable decisions with a partner they can trust. The Opportunity

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Operations, the Senior Operations Coordinator Lead will own Plug’s end-to-end auction and trade-in workflows and lead our growing Operations Coordinator team. You’ll set daily priorities, refine processes, and jump in to solve problems before they escalate—all while collaborating with Sales, Product, Finance and Customer Success to deliver an industry-leading experience for buyers and sellers of used EVs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run the daily queue: Monitor and action emails, listings, payments, title intake/reassignment, transport dispatch, and arbitration
  • Handle the hard stuff: Own escalations and edge cases; triage root causes, propose fixes, and close the loop with stakeholders.
  • Guard our SLAs: Track cycle times (listing→payment, payment→title, title→release), first-pass yield, and rework; proactively clear blockers.
  • Keep data clean: Maintain pristine records across HubSpot/CRM, inventory tools, and dashboards; reconcile payments and documents.
  • Level up our process: Draft/maintain SOPs, identify automation opportunities (macros, AI, integrations), and pilot improvements with Product.
  • Vendor coordination: Coordinate with transporters, title partners, and floorplan providers to meet service commitments.
  • Enable the team: Share best practices, shadow new hires, and contribute to internal playbooks
What You’ll Bring
  • 3 - 5+ years in operations, logistics, automotive remarketing, or a marketplace—ideally with regulated, multi-step workflows.
  • Deep familiarity with at least two of: title processing, payments/reconciliation, transport scheduling, and arbitration.
  • Tooling fluency: HubSpot (or similar CRM), Google Workspace/Excel (lookups, pivots), comfort with dashboards; basic SQL a plus.
  • Proven track record of hitting SLAs while improving accuracy and reducing rework.
  • Clear, concise communication with dealers, vendors, and cross-functional partners.
  • Bias for ownership, urgency, and attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Experience with floor plan financing, dealership operations or vehicle remarketing.
  • Lean/Six Sigma or other continuous-improvement certification.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled workflow tools or basic scripting.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $95,000 - $100,000 + equity options.
