The OpportunityWe’re looking for a Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment to support our Business Development and Operations team. This is a unique opportunity to wear many hats — balancing day-to-day execution with high-level strategy — while making a direct impact on the growth of our business.
You’ll play a critical role in helping Plug scale by ensuring projects are delivered on time, stakeholders are aligned, and operations run smoothly.
- Partner with Business Development and Operations to manage projects from concept through execution
- Track deadlines, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple initiatives
- Support both administrative tasks (tracking, scheduling, reporting) and strategic work (market analysis, operational improvements)
- Build and maintain project dashboards, documentation, and process flows to keep teams aligned
- Proactively identify risks, gaps, or inefficiencies — and propose solutions before they become blockers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, product, and external partners
- Bring energy and clarity to a fast-moving start-up where priorities can shift quickly
- 3–5 years of experience in project management, operations, or business development support
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills; detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders
- A proactive, self-starter mindset — you don’t wait to be told what to do, you anticipate needs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and wearing multiple hats
- Familiarity with start-up culture and tools (e.g., Notion, Asana, Airtable, Slack) a plus
- Bonus: experience in EVs, automotive, or sustainability-related industries

Base Compensation: $100,000 - 110,000 + equity
