ABOUT THE ROLE

As we pursue our growth, we are looking for a professional Analyst, Accounts Payable to join our Finance team in Canada. This role will be working remotely in Quebec and will report to the Controller.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Manage the Accounts payable function for different entities using Tipalti.
    • Process and match invoices with purchase orders.
    • Verify coding and obtain appropriate approvals for payment.
    • Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
    • Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure sufficient funds are available for payment obligations.
  • Manage the company's credit cards.
    • Process employee expenses and reimbursements
    • Reconcile corporate credit card statements, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and supported by receipts.
    • Investigate discrepancies and follow up with cardholders
  • Participate in the month end close
  • Special projects and reports as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

This also means that you are effective at managing multiple tasks of varying complexities, work well under pressure, and are driven by continuous learning and growth. Specifically, we are looking for someone with the following toolbox:

      • 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable with Post secondary Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
      • Understanding of accounting principles and practices.
      • Experience in accounting software, A/P software and Microsoft Suite.
      • Attention to detail and accuracy.
      • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
      • Familiarity with Netsuite, Tipalti and/or Ramp is a plus.
