Scope of Job
PowerFlex, an EDF Renewables company, is a leading national provider of intelligent onsite energy solutions that support carbon-free electrification and transportation. The Company delivers integrated solar, storage, EV charging, and microgrid systems, to businesses and organizations. As a single full-service provider, PowerFlex customizes clean technology solutions to help clients achieve their energy and sustainability goals. Through the comprehensive PowerFlex X platform, PowerFlex leverages patented smart software to control, monitor, and optimize a client's distributed energy resources to reduce cost and maximize return on investment. Our technology was developed at Caltech, deployed with research partners like NASA, proven-out with customers like Netflix and Children’s Hospital, and now scaling to fleets, corporations, and municipalities nationwide.

The NetSuite Developer will leverage their deep understanding of the NetSuite platform and related technologies to design, develop, test, and deploy customized solutions. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with SuiteCloud technologies and a strong background in software development.

Location
This role is open to be 100% remote or a hybrid role out of one of our offices (San Diego, CA or New York, NY.)

Responsibilities

75% - NetSuite Development

  • Participating in business processes mapping including process analysis and design, gap analysis, functional system design and specifications, system configuration, development of system tests, procedures, and documentation.
  • Analyzing business/technical requirements and objectives, perform fit/gap analysis, and provide recommendations by documenting design, technical documentation, system deployment documents, system integration and interface documents.
  • Developing and managing the complete NetSuite software development life-cycle, ensuring the delivery of reliable, scalable, and performant solutions.
  • Managing NetSuite ERP enhancements, production issues from a technical, functional and/or organizational change management standpoint.
  • SRP Module Is mandatory in NetSuite implementation.
  • Manage data migration efforts, including CSV imports/exports and XML, HTML, and CSS integrations.
  • Utilize expertise in Client-Side/Server-Side JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and AJAX to enhance NetSuite functionality.
  • Design and develop SFTP integrations for inbound and outbound data transfers.
  • Develop and maintain integrations, both point-to-point and middleware-based, with various cloud and on-premise systems.
  • Design and implement solutions using SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.x), Query API and SuiteQL, SuiteFlow, SuiteBundler, SuiteTalk, and SuiteBuilder and SuiteAnalytics Workbooks.
  • Optimize and maintain existing NetSuite customizations and integrations.
  • Provide insights and suggestions for best technical approaches for integration requirements.
  • Maintain functional knowledge of O2C, P2P, and R2R processes.

15% - Collaboration and Communication with business teams and stakeholders

  • Identifying and minimizing system issues, communicating effectively with team members
  • Ensure system security by maintaining users, roles, profiles, and workflow rules.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical designs.

10% - Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business or related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years' experience working with a range of SuiteCloud Platform technologies
  • 2+ years' experience of relevant software development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with at least 3-5 NetSuite implementation projects.
  • Experience with client and server-side debugging tools to troubleshoot scripts.
  • NetSuite Developer certification is preferred

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Solid working knowledge of SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBundler, SuiteTalk, and SuiteBuilder.
  • Expertise in JavaScript, SQL, JSON, HTML, and XML technologies.
  • Strong understanding of the NetSuite framework, its capabilities, and limitations.
  • Expertise in Netsuite modules: Netsuite SuiteSuccess Bundle, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Design to Build, Project to Cash, Order to Cash
  • Proven ability to develop robust and scalable technical solutions in NetSuite.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and able to work effectively with different stakeholders.
  • Strong consulting and analytical skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Milestone Billing, Charge Based Billing
  • Project Progress based Revenue Recognition and Sales Order with Projects

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $102,500 - $171,000 annually. This position is eligible for PowerFlex's comprehensive Health and Welfare plans including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off. The total compensation for this position may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation, as applicable). PowerFlex's compensation packages carefully consider a candidate's qualifications, experiences, and education in relation to the position.

Physical Requirements
Remaining in a seated position. Long hours on computer keyboard. Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.

Working Conditions
Approximately 95% of the time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher and Adobe etc.), telephones, and general office equipment. Possibly 5% of the time is spent traveling to conferences or meetings.
