The Mechanical Engineer Internship offers a unique opportunity to work on the forefront of energy storage technology. You’ll engage with cutting-edge energy storage technology, collaborating with experienced professionals to contribute to renewable energy advancements. The opportunity involves hands-on experience in the design and engineering of assemblies, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration on mechanical design projects. The position provides valuable practical experience and allows interns to make meaningful contributions globally. Effective communication across diverse backgrounds is a key skill emphasized in this internship, offering a unique chance to be part of the forefront of sustainable technology innovation.

Job Duties:

  • Design and engineering of assemblies
  • Collaborate on mechanical design projects locally and with remote engineering teams
  • Follow design and development processes and procedures
  • Ability to work cross functionally, conveying designs and concepts to others with different backgrounds/degrees

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechanical engineering experience especially related to mechanical design preferred
  • Proficient with SolidWorks
  • Proficient in Microsoft office programs
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details
  • Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
  • Ability to work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced design environment
  • Self-motivated, hands-on practice and teamwork
