Summary:

Reporting to the Director, Program Management Office (PMO), the Program Manager will help drive the portfolio of Powin’s Strategic Initiatives, change programs, and cross-functional transformation projects, ensuring that programs and projects align with the company’s strategic vision and objectives. This role is responsible for driving critical corporate initiatives and setting standards for program management. The Program Manager will also drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring effective project execution, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio & Program Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of all projects within the portfolio, ensuring they meet scope, budget, timeline, and quality requirements. Implement and standardize project management methodologies, tools, and templates. Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation and utilization across projects, ensuring that resources are used effectively to meet project objectives. Collaborate across departments and teams to manage resource requirements and resolve resource conflicts. Provide strategic input on resource planning and forecasting to support the organization’s growth and project demands.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications and decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate regular project reviews, risk assessments, and change management processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies. Analyze project outcomes and lessons learned to drive future project success. Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the PMO.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of program management experience or related work, with experience in engineering or technical fields preferred
  • Familiarity with corporate data, operations, and business intelligence systems (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Databricks, Oracle, NetSuite, Arena, PowerBI)
  • Proven experience managing large, complex projects and programs across multiple departments or functions
  • Excellent understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile) and best practices
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically, balancing big-picture thinking with attention to detail
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification is highly desirable
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Compensation for this position is commensurate with location, experience and relevant skills.​ The national Average Base Salary Range is ​$112,000-$155,000. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and personal performance. ​Additional Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, Short-Term/Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, EAP, 401(k), Flexible Work Arrangements and more.
