Our mission is to move humanity off of fossil fuel heating. 20% of US global warming emissions come from homes (that's more than cars!). The largest driver of home emissions is burning fossil fuels for heat. To accomplish the energy transition, over 80M US homes need to transition from combustion to efficient, electric heat pumps over the coming decades.

We believe for this to happen the world needs fantastic products that are easy and desirable to purchase. Today's heat pumps lack great design, make limited use of software, and are difficult and stressful to adopt. We are building a next generation, beautifully designed, AI optimized home heating and cooling system that is 10x better than what is on the market today. And we are making it easy to purchase and adopt by managing all sales, rebates, permitting and installation for our customers in-house.

Role

Quilt is hiring for a pivotal role in our business - our first Install Experience Manager. This critical person will be the face of Quilt to our customers throughout the heat pump installation process - from sales contract to installation complete. The job is to consistently deliver an incredible customer experience and there are two elements to achieving that: The first is end-to-end project management of installations internally. This means collaborating closely with our sales and field installations teams, as well as central operations as needed to shepard the install project along a multi-step process. The second element is owning the customer relationship from the point of sales handoff. Your job is to delight and exceed customer expectations through clear communications both from your desk in our hybrid office as well as on-site during installation in customer homes. This is a dynamic role well suited for someone who can work well across internal teams to achieve goals, all while keeping the customer first and foremost.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and push forward the installation of our Quilt systems from the moment a contract is signed to passing the city inspection.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through the pre-installation and installation phases, addressing any questions and concerns along the way.
• Work with our installation and operations team to prepare for installations, including pulling city permits, scheduling and coordinating with 3rd party contractors.
• Look around corners for ‘what could go wrong’ to ensure we are consistently providing a high quality installation experience for our customers.
• Set up the Quilt system at the end of each installation and onboard the customer in their home to ensure they are getting the most out of their new Quilt system.

• You have 2+ work experience in a fast-paced work environment with a high bar for excellence.
• You’re a great communicator with outstanding people skills.
• You’re customer-experience obsessed.
• You’re able to work cross-functionally and seamlessly between field and office.
• You have a keen eye for detail and are highly organized.
• You have great project management skills and can juggle multiple tasks at once.
• You have a genuine interest in home electrification, accelerating the energy transition, and the product Quilt is building.

This is a full-time, hybrid position in our Redwood City office with daily travel to customer homes across the Bay Area.

The expected salary range is $100,000 - $117,500 a year. In addition to base salary, Quilt also offers meaningful equity and top-tier benefits.
