We are currently seeking a highly talented and driven Specialist I – Deal Validation to join our Revenue Operations team and support the corporate strategic initiative of securing high quality data and business processes and controls within but not limited to the sales organization. The preferred location for this position is in Bangalore, India, but other locations will be considered for a strong candidate.
Job Duties / Main Responsibilities
- Process and validate critical financial data points on Opportunities submitted by the sales team in Salesforce CPQ by reconciling against the customer-signed contract and historical data
- Collaborate with sales reps to understand the intention behind a deal as well troubleshoot inaccuracies within their deals
- Identify breaks in the workflows or Salesforce objects as well as opportunities for process improvements
- Generate and provide Salesforce reports as requested by users in a timely manner according to SLAs
- Respond to queries submitted via the case submission process according to SLAs
- Respond to internal team and sales team questions/comments via Chatter within Salesforce in a timely manner
- Participate in ad hoc special projects and data analysis as needed and assigned
- Complete all audit processes assigned in a timely manner
Competitive Candidate Profile
- Bachelor or Associate degree
- At least 2 years experience working in Salesforce
- Experience working with Salesforce CPQ is a plus
- Extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated, accountable, and organized
- Process control oriented
- Strong work ethic, ambition, integrity, and desire to learn and grow skills
- Written and verbal communication skills must be strong as this role communicates with sales reps and internal team often
- Works well under moderate supervision
- Basic level of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and its functions like filtering, sorting, formulas, and formatting
