System Specialist
Redwood Materials is looking for a System Specialist to support the Mechanical, Process & Piping Engineering teams with the development and improvement of software design and interfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate under the guidance of a Design Manager to generate improvements for all teams.
- Develop interfaces and procedures for document control software (Adept)
- Develop optimized & automated workflows for design and CAD systems issues.
- Problem solving small and large tasks for all engineering-based software.
- Creation of automation for mundane, tedious, and simple tasks.
- Extend our VR program and build as software changes.
- Assist in the maintenance of software to help push changes company wide.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of coding experience with CAD programs and document control systems.
- 5-10 years of design engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Navisworks, programming
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office proficiency.
- 3D animations/renderings a plus
- 3D printing experience a plus
