About Reunion
Reunion is the leading platform for clean energy tax credits and compliance. Since 2024, we have worked with major corporations to invest over $7 billion in clean energy projects, including some of the industry's largest tax credit transactions. We are a fast-growing and profitable company and expert 20-person team knows how to get things done and loves to move fast!
Our founders, Billy Lee and Andy Moon, are second-time entrepreneurs and were early pioneers in solar tax equity and project finance. We have recruited an experienced team of early executives from SunEdison, SolarCity, Tesla, GoodLeap, and other leading clean energy companies. We have built a strong company culture which values collaboration and speed… while still having fun.
We recently launched Reunion PWA, a software solution that helps developers comply with prevailing wage and apprenticeship (PWA) requirements to unlock the full value of clean energy tax credits. Reunion PWA is rapidly gaining traction in the market, and we’re growing our team to accelerate adoption.
About the Role
As the Director of Compliance Technology at Reunion, you will serve as our internal and external subject matter expert on PWA compliance. You’ll combine deep regulatory knowledge with strong research, strategic thinking, and communication skills to help shape Reunion’s product roadmap, customer deliverables, and industry positioning.
This role is highly cross-functional. One day, you might be creating a deck to present to tax credit insurers on why Reunion is the industry's most trusted compliance partner; the next, you may be developing a strategy for how Reunion should address “Foreign Entity of Concern” requirements in new product offerings. You will be the person our team turns to for clarity on complex compliance challenges, and the person our customers rely on to interpret, simplify, and operationalize regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Do
Serve as the in-house subject matter expert on prevailing wage and apprenticeship compliance under the Inflation Reduction Act.
Conduct deep research on evolving tax credit guidance, regulatory developments, and industry best practices.
Translate complex compliance requirements into actionable strategies, customer-facing deliverables, and internal resources.
Develop high-level presentations, white papers, and strategic materials for financially interested parties and other stakeholders.
Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure Reunion’s software incorporates accurate, practical, and forward-looking compliance features.
Support Sales and Customer Success in answering complex compliance questions and strengthening customer trust.
Anticipate future compliance needs (e.g., Foreign Entity of Concern, domestic content, etc.) and shape Reunion’s roadmap accordingly.
Represent Reunion at conferences, webinars, and industry events as a thought leader on compliance technology.
What You’ll Need
6+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, clean energy finance, public policy, or a related field.
Demonstrated expertise in prevailing wage, apprenticeship, or related labor/clean energy compliance programs.
Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to translate ambiguous regulatory guidance into clear strategies.

Proven ability to operate in a high-autonomy environment and deliver results on nebulous, high-level projects.
Experience working cross-functionally with product, legal, customer-facing, and leadership teams.
Passion for clean energy, climate tech, or mission-driven compliance technology.
Nice to Haves
Familiarity with IRA tax credit programs beyond PWA (e.g., §45X, §48E, domestic content, Foreign Entity of Concern, Beginning of Construction, etc.).
Experience advising or working with tax credit insurers, developers, or financial institutions.
Background at the intersection of compliance, technology, and strategy in a fast-growing environment.
Prior startup experience, especially in roles requiring both subject matter expertise and strategy execution.
