About Reunion

Reunion is transforming the way clean energy projects are financed. Since 2024, our tax credit transfer business has partnered with major corporations to unlock over $8 billion in clean energy investment, including some of the industry's largest transactions. Our Clean Energy Solutions business is building disruptive software for developers to track operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

Reunion has built a consistently profitable company, focused on building for the long term. We raised a small seed round of funding in 2023, and have since repaid our investors in full. We do not have pressure from VCs or outside investors to chase short-term targets; we have the autonomy to focus on building a great long-term business. Reunion's laser focus on solving tough problems has resulted in repeat customers and strong profitability since 2024.

We have worked hard to build a mission-driven company culture that values creativity, collaboration, excellence, and speed without sacrificing fun. Our talented team includes experienced leaders from SunEdison, SolarCity, Tesla, GoodLeap, and other clean energy companies; we are consistently amazed by what our 30+ person team of experts can accomplish.

We look for curious, smart, and kind colleagues with an entrepreneurial streak. Reunion has quite a few ex-entrepreneurs on our team and is a great place to learn from energy finance experts and play a critical role in deploying clean energy technologies such as battery storage, nuclear, manufacturing, solar, and wind.

About the role

Reunion's PWA, FEOC, and Domestic Content compliance software platform is one of the fastest-growing parts of the company, and we're hiring a General Manager to help lead the charge. You will own the P&L, set the strategy, and build the team and systems that enable it to scale well beyond where it is today. You'll report to the CEO / President, and work closely with the founders.

This is an operator's role. You inherit a product that already has traction with clean energy developers, and your job is to turn early wins into a durable, well-run business. You'll need to get into the details of the product, the customers, and the team, while keeping a clear view of the numbers that matter.

What you'll do

  • Own the P&L. Carry revenue, margin, and growth targets for the Clean Energy Solutions software business. Know the unit economics cold, and make tradeoffs that improve them.

  • Run the business day to day. Set priorities for the team with a focus on sales, marketing, operations, and strategy.

  • Build systems that scale. Put in place the processes, tooling, and reporting that empower the business to grow, from customer onboarding to renewal to escalation handling.

  • Hire top talent, and hold the team accountable. Set a high bar for performance, give direct feedback, and coach team members to accomplish more than they realized they could. Help build a culture of entrepreneurship and ownership.

  • Partner across the company. Work with sales, marketing, and the tax credit transfer business unit to coordinate on shared customers and shared infrastructure to help the team win.

  • Represent the business externally. Be a credible voice with customers, partners, and prospects on what clean energy developers need to comply with PWA, Domestic Content, and FEOC rules.

What you'll need

Must-have:

  • Experience running a business, business unit, or P&L, ideally in software, with a track record of hitting targets you personally owned.

  • A demonstrated ability building operational rigor: clear metrics, clear ownership, and processes that hold up as the team and business grow.

  • You are decisive, direct, and comfortable with accountability, both giving it and taking it. You have a track record of holding teams to a high performance bar.

  • Comfort operating in a regulated or compliance-heavy domain, or the ability to get up to speed on one quickly.

Strongly recommended:

  • Background in clean energy, tax credits, construction compliance, or another regulated B2B software market.

  • Experience running a company or a business unit inside a larger company.

NOTE: Reunion is an equal opportunity employer. You're encouraged to apply even if your experience doesn't line up exactly with the job description.
