Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Accounting & Finance
Eindhoven, Netherlands
Job description
RIFT
RIFT is entering a defining phase in its evolution: transitioning from technology development to commercial scale-up. In 2026, the company successfully secured €114 million to reach Final Investment Decision (FID) and build the world’s first commercial iron fuel production facility. The period towards FID requires rigorous financial discipline, effective capital deployment, and the execution of multiple strategic financing and commercial milestones. Simultaneously, RIFT must demonstrate a scalable and repeatable business model capable of supporting a Series C financing round of >€100–200 million and laying the foundation for international growth.
We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to help shape RIFT's next phase of growth. As CFO, you will define the company's financial strategy and ensure the capital structure needed to scale with confidence.
As RIFT transitions towards commercial deployment, you will secure funding, extend cash runway, and allocate capital where it creates the greatest long-term value. Combining financial discipline with a pragmatic approach to growth, you will translate strategic ambitions into financially sound decisions.
Working closely with the CEO, Management Team, Supervisory Board, shareholders, and future investors, you will lead financing activities, strengthen strategic relationships, and prepare RIFT for future fundraising rounds, including a Series C . Together with a highly capable Finance team, you will establish the financial processes, transparent reporting, and governance required to support sustainable growth, future fundraising, and the company's next stage of development.
We are RIFT | Let’s make the impossible possible
RIFT develops technologies and projects that help decarbonise industry. After years of research, development and pilot projects, we are entering the next phase: commercial deployment. The Finance Team
The Finance team combines expertise in Financial Control, Accounting, Project Finance, Public Funding, Legal and Business Case Finance. Working in a highly collaborative, process driven way, the team ensures that funding, governance, legal frameworks and financial decision making are aligned.
