Overview:

Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with a CNC Machine Shop.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support second-shift machinists, providing direction, troubleshooting, and workflow coordination.
• Promote and enforce safety policies, ensuring a safe and compliant shop environment.
• Support CNC programming and troubleshooting using Mastercam to maintain efficient operations.
• Oversee machining quality, including inspections using precision measurement tools and GD&T requirements.
• Monitor production schedules, tooling usage, and labor utilization to meet delivery and continuous improvement goals.

Requirements

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a precision machining or job shop environment.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and Mastercam programming.
• Proficiency with inspection techniques using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and similar tools.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and quality standards.
• Experience with Vericut simulation software and Zoller presetter/shrinker systems is a plus.
