Role: Supply Chain (E&E commodities)

Title: Assistant/Deputy Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing:
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of electrical components, considering factors such as quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels of electrical components.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring alignment with production requirements and minimizing excess or obsolete stock.
  • Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and communication.
  • Work closely with suppliers to resolve issues, track performance metrics, and continuously improve the supplier base.
  • Demand Planning:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and engineering, to accurately forecast demand for electrical components.
  • Develop and implement demand planning strategies to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Implement and monitor quality control processes for electrical components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Work with suppliers to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Cost Management:
  • Analyze and optimize costs associated with electrical components, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or electronics engineering with 4-8 years experience in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of electrical components and their specifications.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of APQP, PPAP, & other quality tools like Cause & effect, CP/CPK, 8D
